THE MISSION IS ACTIVE. THE NEED IS REAL.
Why Messiah’s Vision is widening the circle of support—not to chase money, but to build the capacity to serve faithfully.
WHERE WE STAND
Our accountant’s financial report through August 31, 2026 gives the Board a clear snapshot: Messiah’s Vision received $12,344.42 in year-to-date income and recorded $12,101.56 in year-to-date expenses. That leaves only $242.86 in year-to-date net income. At the reporting date, current assets/checking totaled $412.90.
Those numbers tell us where we are financially. But they do not tell the whole story of what the ministry is carrying.
WHAT ARE WE ACTUALLY CARRYING?
A projected budget from 2025 helps us see the scope of ministry needs already identified by Messiah’s Vision. It is not being presented as the current 2026 operating budget; it is a window into the responsibilities behind the mission.
Administrative & Operational — $8,524.56
Transportation/fuel, office supplies, software and subscriptions, postage/shipping, meeting food and other administrative needs.
Ministry — $10,240.00
Pastors & leaders fellowship, prayer rally, children’s ministry, disaster relief, community blessing, benevolence, visitation, funeral assistance and ministry contingency.
General Missions — $600.00
Missionary support and designated mission activity.
GRANTS ARE NOT THE MISSION. THEY ARE A TOOL.
Messiah’s Vision should never create programs merely to chase available money. The responsible approach is the opposite: identify funding opportunities that genuinely align with the ministry and communities we are already serving.
Our mission determines where we go. Funding helps us get there.
WHY WE ARE WIDENING THE CIRCLE
Grants are one channel—not the mission. We are developing a healthier mix of support through grants, individual and recurring donors, designated gifts, church and community partnerships, sponsorships, and in-kind support.
This is not a departure from the faith and generosity that have carried Messiah’s Vision. It is an effort to steward that faithfulness wisely and to keep a growing ministry from depending indefinitely on only a few people or one small stream of support.
FROM SURVIVAL TO SUSTAINABILITY
Imagine resources already available when a family needs assistance. Imagine a donated ministry vehicle that can be insured, fueled and maintained without destabilizing the ministry. Imagine food and compassion outreach expanding because transportation and operating resources are already in place. Imagine a responsible reserve so that one unexpected expense does not place the ministry in difficulty.
The challenge is not merely to find more money. It is to become increasingly prepared, accountable and capable of responding when opportunities to serve appear.
THE NEED IS REAL. THE MISSION IS ACTIVE. THE OPPORTUNITY IS BEFORE US.
Our responsibility is to steward it faithfully—prayerfully, responsibly and expectantly.
