Giving may be the number one way you can put God first in your life. Jesus talked about personal resources that way in Matthew 6:24. In addition to weekly percentage giving (which the Bible calls the tithe), we believe there’s no better return on investment than giving to the work of an organization who comes along side and networks with churches to further the Kingdom of God. In Mark 10:29-30, Jesus promised that return would come in this life and in the life to come.
We believe Christians are to give generously, sacrificially, and joyfully. And in the freedom we have in Christ, there is no biblical tithing requirement for Christians. Jesus fulfilled the Law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:23-25; Ephesians 2:15), and that includes the laws on tithing. The New Testament teaches giving (1 Corinthians 16:2; 2 Corinthians 9:7). If God is leading you to tithe, by all means, tithe. We don’t view tithing as a legalistic command. Giving is an aspect of the Christian life, and all Christians should give.
Your financial support will be a tremendous help. To promote full transparency, as of to date, almost 90% of your gift will go to domestic and overseas missions and specific recipients. Messiah’s Vision maintains very minimal operational expenses since it is run by volunteers and no building to rent.
