Blessed to be a Blessing

“It is interesting that most often the time when God blesses us, it is when we are not even pining for the blessing. It is most often the time when the blessings were in the back of our minds that God blesses us beyond our wildest imagination.” – Christopher Toh

The Landis

We were able to come to know Andrea and Todd Landis through our realtor Kahdijah. They learned about what Messiah’s Vision does and were gracious to donate their baby Evelyn’s belongings. I believe that God orchestrates everything. A week prior to the Landis’ donation, we met Anette in one of our food distribution location, she asked for breads so she can feed children. Apparently she works with an organization called Empower U. Empower U is a learning organization that strives to continuously support children, families, and communities through providing innovative and sustainable empowerment and therapeutic programming. And she mentioned that they are having a toy drive for the kids. So, the Lord made all things happen according to His plan. Thank you Andrea, Todd and Evelyn. God bless you!

Kahdijah found out about Messiah’s Vision weeks after we bought our house through her. And she started to donate clothes of her daughter. Together with other people’s donation, the clothes are then packed in a box and sent to the Philippines, normally 2-3 boxes every 2 months and depending on the availability of funds for international shipping.
We are Partnering with My Hope Church through Pastor Manuel and Jhoan Alcantara. The clothes and toys are given to less privileged kids through their Street Sunday School, they have 3 sites totaling to 600 Kids.

Marline Soto and her team were supported by Messiah’s Vision so that they can bless the kids who are less fortunate, who needs love and care. It might not be too much but we believe God will continue to touch peoples lives so together with Messiah’s Vision, we will all be a channel of His blessings!

in AGUADILLA, PUERTO RICO

3 years ago we were able to minister to Debbie Gonzalez and her 2 sons, they are making ends meet and living in a government housing facility. From time to time we visit them and share some food and anything that they might need in their home. Last month, Debbie was in a tight situation, she lost their rent money but glory to God we were able to help her in their moment of need.

WHY DO WE DO WHAT WE DO

If Jesus, our Master, gave His life in service to others, how can we expect we’ll do anything less? What’s more, He tells us it’s by our love for each other the world will know we’re His.
